Struan Burges has over 10 years of experience in planning, delivering and operating state, national and international sports facilities within Australia and New Zealand.
He worked for the (former) Department of Sport and Recreation and was a volunteer director for the Western Australian Hockey Association, Triathlon Western Australia and the University of Western Australia Sport and Recreation Association.
Mr Burges holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science and Graduate Diploma in Commercial and Resources Law from the University of Western Australia.
He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Association, the Australian Sports Professionals Association, was a member of the Western Australian Institute of Sport Men’s Hockey Squad and continues to play and coach for his local club Westside Wolves.
