Steven Lawrence

Steven Lawrence is an experienced chief executive within the sports industry.

He was chief executive at the WA Institute of Sport from July 2016 to September 2023, having been an executive director from 2001. Prior to that, Mr Lawrence was the exercise physiologist with the Australian National Hockey Program from 1985 to 2001.

He is a graduate of the University of WA with professional development from London Business School, Australian Institute of Management, UWA Business School, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
