Prior to joining St Mark's Anglican Community School in August 2018, Steven Davies was the Dean of Student Wellbeing at All Saints’ College in Bull Creek. He completed an Applied Science Degree in Chemistry in 1982. He then combined working as a chemist (industrial/analytical) with overseas travel before completing a Graduate Diploma in Education.
His Science teaching career began with the Education Department at Forrestfield Senior High School, followed by a teacher exchange to Orkney in Scotland, before returning to Armadale Senior High School. His independent school career commenced at All Saints’ College in 1995 where, as a Science/Chemistry teacher and as a Head of House, he developed a strong interest in pastoral care of students. In 2008, Mr Davies was appointed Head of Senior School (Years 10-12) at Tranby College and after six years, he returned to All Saints’ College to take up an executive position as Dean of Student Wellbeing. In July 2016, he was appointed for twelve months as acting vice principal which included a period as acting principal.
