Steve Whiteman is an experienced finance executive with global finance experience across a range of contracting industries. Prior to becoming chief financial officer and company secretary of Contract Resources in December 2017, Mr Whiteman spent a decade working in industrial contracting with Broadspectrum (now Ferrovial Services) and UGL. During that time, he was head of finance at Broadspectrum in New Zealand and prior to that was the finance lead at Ferrovial’s diversified oil & gas and petrochemical contracting division in the US. Mr Whiteman had also held senior finance roles with Cochlear and Vincor Wines International where he relocated to Perth and Toronto respectively. He commenced his career as a graduate with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in Sydney. Mr Whiteman holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing and Economics) and a Masters of Accounting, is a CPA Australia charter holder, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
