Stephen Gemmell has over 40 years of experience in the mining industry and has worked throughout Australasia, Africa, North and South America, Asia, Eastern and Western Europe.
Mr Gemmell has been the principal of Gemmell Mining Engineers since its formation in Kalgoorlie in 1984, specialising in mineral property assessment, strategic studies and valuation.
Mr Gemmell is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a Chartered Professional (Mining), and a Member of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers. He is an AusIMM representative on the VALMIN Committee, and a VALMIN representative to the International Mineral Valuation Committee which he chaired in 2018 and 2019.
