Steven Birkbeck has extensive marketing expertise, especially in the luxury goods markets.
Mr Birkbeck was chair and managing director of Atlas Pearls and Perfumes (formerly Atlas South Sea Pearls), having first joined its board of directors in 2005. He was also the founder and chief executive of Mt Romance, a WA company that has become one of the largest producers of sandalwood oil in the world, and a non-executive chair of Skill Hire.
Mr Birkbeck was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2003, and presented with the title "Export Hero" from the Australian Institute of Export in 2011.
