Stephen Pilcher

Stephen Pilcher has over 25 years of experience in mining operations and project development in the coal industry. Prior to joining Aquila Resources in 2009, he was the executive general manager of project development for Vale Coal where he was responsible for the coal project pipeline in Australia. Mr Pilcher was business development manager with AMCI and continued with Vale following their acquisition of AMCI in April 2007. Prior to this, he had held operational roles managing a number of underground coal mines including West Cliff Colliery, Kestrel Mine and Oaky North Mine.
