Stephen Newton is a director of BAI Communications Group, Gateway Lifestyle Residential Parks Group, and the University of Notre Dame Australia. He is also an advisory board member, representing Alberta Investment Management Corp (Canada), of the Forestry Investment Trust, and chair of the Finance Council for the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney. He was a director of Campus Living Funds Management and Newcastle Airport. Mr Newton has deep executive experience across real estate investment, development, and infrastructure investment and management. He is a principal of Arcadia Funds Management, a real estate investment management and capital advisory business he established in 2002. Prior to this, Mr Newton was the chief executive officer of Asia/Pacific for the real estate investment management arm of LendLease Corporation and a member of the global senior executive management group. His career at LendLease spanning almost 23 years included experience across residential development, retail shopping centres, commercial and industrial property, as well as real estate investment in Australia and overseas. Mr Newton is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
