Stephen Dobson

Stephen Dobson has over 25 years of experience in global capital debt and equity markets.

He was managing director of Mirabaud Securities Australia, part of the Swiss-based Mirabaud Group. From 1987 to 2001, he held a range of positions as managing director of leading global investment bank Merrill Lynch & Co and was based in Sydney, New York, London, Singapore and Perth. Mr Dobson was responsible for debt and equity transactions for governments and corporations located across many jurisdictions. Prior to joining Sundance Resources, Mr Dobson was a director of several Australian and US based financial management firms with special focus on the global resources sector.

Mr Dobson was appointed non-executive chair of Rift Valley Resources in November 2016, and had served as non-executive director of Carbine Resources, executive director of St Francis Group, and was foundation director of Perth-based advisory firm Capital Investment Partners.
