Simon Scalzo has experience in the Australian and US market, founding multiple software businesses in the automotive sector amongst other related industry verticals.
Locally, Mr Scalzo founded Evoke autopay, an automotive-focused BNPL solution allowing consumers to pay for their car service over time, interest free. He then merged this business into ASX-listed Openpay where he led the group as chief executive. Mr Scalzo was also a director of ASX-listed Credit Clear where he led the group as managing director. He holds several director and advisory roles across many different technology businesses including MeldCX and a director of AOPEN global solutions group. He was also a partner & board member of BDO Australia's national retail advisory practice, focusing in the retail and automotive industries.
In the USA, Mr Scalzo is a director of Carsfast.com (based digital automotive dealership), and Remitter.com (digital collections technology platform).
