Simon Rushton has extensive legal and commercial expertise developed across a range of industries including logistics, mining, oil & gas, and in private legal practice.
Prior to becoming the managing director of Australasian Sands International in February 2020, Mr Rushton spent over 11 years with Mineral Resources as general manager of commercial, general counsel, company secretary and executive general manager of corporate development. He had gained experience in corporate law, litigation and insolvency in one of Perth's pre-eminent independent law firms where he acted for a range of clients in the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, Federal and High Court matters.
Mr Rushton is admitted to practice in both Western Australia and the Northern Territory, and holds a current Western Australian practice certificate.
