WA Labor amassed a significant fundraising advantage this past financial year as unions, law firms and sitting members opened their wallets to fill the party’s coffers.

Simon Millman is a Labor Party Member of the Western Australia Legislative Assembly for Mount Lawley.
Following Labor's win in the 2021 state election, he became the Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Premier Roger Cook under the McGowan government. In the 2022 cabinet reshuffle, Mr Millman became the Parliamentary Secretary to Amber-Jade Sanderson, the Minister for Health and Mental Health.
Following the resignation of Mr McGowan in June 2023, Mr Millman kept his portfolio as Parliamentary Secretary to Amber-Jade Sanderson, the Minister for Health and Mental Health, under the Cook government.
After graduating from the University of WA, Mr Millman practiced law and specialised in workers’ compensation, personal injury, discrimination law and asbestos-related diseases. He had also volunteered at local community legal centres.
