Simon Illingworth has over 25 years of experience in leading, developing and exiting startup companies. He also has a broad range of global contacts within the oil and gas, autonomous vehicles and seismic services sectors.
Mr Illingworth is the co-founder of Blue Ocean Monitoring and was its group managing director and chief executive from April 2014 to September 2021 before becoming the managing director and chief executive of Blue Ocean Seismic Services, the company's UK-based joint venture company with BP and Woodside. He remains an executive director of Blue Ocean Monitoring.
Prior to that, Mr Illingworth was the managing director of Australian Telecom, Smarttrack, and Telenor Satellite Tracking in Ireland.
