Simon Hickey

Simon Hickey has over 20 years' experience in resource projects in Australia, North America and Asia. Mr Hickey has been director of several ASX and TSX listed companies and has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment. Mr Hickey has a record of successfully establishing new businesses in both Australia and North America. He is founding director of Macarthur Minerals and continues to serve on the board as their Lake Giles project progresses towards production of hematite iron ore. Mr Hickey is the founder and chair of UIL Energy. With his commercial and resource background in the US and Australia, he established an experienced oil and gas team to explore and develop prospective project areas in Australia for unconventional shale gas and tight oil.
