Simon Finnis is an experienced executive with a 30-year career in underground and open cut mining, construction and commissioning of new and brownfields operations.
Mr Finnis has held a number of management and operational roles in mining within Australia and internationally. He was chief executive of Grande Cote Operations during its development and into the operating phase in Senegal, West Africa; managing director of Cloncurry Metals (later renamed Global Resources Corporation); managing director and chief executive of Metro Mining; managing director of Global Resources Corporation and chief operating officer for the redevelopment of the Gold Ridge Mine in the Solomon Islands.
Mr Finnis holds a Master of Business and Technology.
