Simon Corrigan has over 15 years of experience in corporate affairs. He established his own corporate affairs business, Corporate Affairs Australia, in November 2021.
Prior to establishing Corporate Affairs Australia, Mr Corrigan was a director of Cannings Purple for 2.5 years and head of community and indigenous affairs Australia at BHP where he worked for 4 years. His career in mining included senior roles for BHP, Atlas Iron and CITIC Pacific Mining where he was responsible for corporate affairs, land access and approvals, government relations, internal and external communications, as well as community and indigenous affairs. Mr Corrigan was a political advisor and campaign manager for State and Federal MPs, culminating in a chief-of-staff role across the portfolios of Resources and State Development, Local Government and Regional Development.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Graduate Diploma in Primary Education, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
