Siavash Khaksar is a lecturer in the School of Electrical Engineering, Computing and Mathematical Sciences at Curtin University. He is also the project coordinator & supervisor for undergraduate and postgraduate students at Curtin University, and manager of its Innovation Central Perth program.
Mr Khaksar holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Azad University, Science and Research branch in Fars; a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Embedded Systems from Curtin University, and is pursuing a PhD focusing on assistive technology and use of motion sensors and machine learning to help children with cerebral palsy. He specialises in embedded systems and digital hardware-software co-design.
