Shaun Vokes is an accountant with over 25 years of experience in the mining industry, gained predominantly in senior operational and management roles within Australia and Africa.
His experience includes project evaluation and financing, business development, contract negotiation, metals marketing, risk management, corporate and financial governance for private and ASX-listed entities across a range of base and precious metals.
Prior to joining Talisman Mining in February 2016 as chief financial officer and company secretary, and then again as interim chief executive in August 2020 before being formally appointed CEO in July 2021, Mr Vokes spent five years as manager of business services/chief financial officer of Kabanga Nickel Company in Tanzania.
Mr Vokes holds a Bachelor of Business, and is a member of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants.
