Shaun McRobert is a leading lawyer in equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, energy and resources. He has been in involved in many complex domestic and cross-border transactions throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and Africa.
Mr McRobert has acted on significant transactions for private equity funds, private and public companies; and has represented bulge bracket and boutique investment banks. His practice focuses on a broad range of matters including hostile and agreed bids, Takeover Panel proceedings, shareholder activism, schemes of arrangement, IPOs, rights issues, FIRB, joint ventures, offtake and infrastructure arrangements.
Mr McRobert established Peloton Legal in January 2023. Prior to that, he was the M&A and ECM corporate partner of MinterEllison for over 4 years; M&A partner of King & Wood Mallesons for over 4 years; and head of infrastructure, mining and commodities at Norton Rose Fulbright's Perth and Hong Kong offices for over 14 years.
