Shankar Madan

Shankar Madan has international experience in the exploration and evaluation of mineral deposits for various commodities. Mr Madan was a director of Alara Resources, manager of Hamersley Iron, group leader of BHP Minerals, chief geologist of Hancock and Wright Prospecting, and senior geological consultant of Rio Tinto. Mr Madan has managed a range of mineral evaluation studies in Iran, Brazil and Western Australia; and was involved in the discovery of three world-class iron ore deposits in Western Australia. He is a member of The Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
