Managing Director / Great Western Exploration

Shane Pike is a geologist with over 20 years of successful technical and management experience in gold and base metals exploration, discovery and project development in both open pit and underground mining.

Mr Pike was the exploration manager for the east coast at Evolution Mining for 7 years, senior exploration geologist at Newcrest Mining for 3 years and Equigold NL for 9 years, chief executive of Santana Minerals, director and economic geologist of Metaltide, before becoming managing director of Great Western Exploration in April 2022.

Mr Pike holds a Bachelor of Applied Science with a double major in Geology.
