Shane Murphy joined FTI Consulting in 2007 after ten years at Computershare, the world’s largest share registrar and transfer agent. At FTI Consulting, Mr Murphy is responsible for providing investor relations advice, developing media and capital markets communications, M&A communications support, organising broker and analyst roadshow events and specialist proxy solicitation campaigns. With previous extensive experience in both the Investor Services and Document Services divisions at Computershare, he offers a wide range of financial communications and corporate regulatory expertise. Mr Murphy’s responsibilities included preparing shareholder correspondence with the aim of successfully securing equity raising and proxy take-up, assistance with the design and production of annual reports and other investor communications, as well as working with clients to create initiatives aimed at increasing the e-delivery of investor communications. Mr Murphy’s work with ASX-listed clients, as well as those seeking to list, has given him an in-depth knowledge of corporate regulations and ASX listing rules, especially on registry-related matters. He has also assisted several companies with dual listings in a variety of jurisdictions including the United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa and Bermuda.
