WA home builder named Australia's best
Western Australia-based builder Giorgi Exclusive Homes has been awarded the top prize at the Housing Institute of Australia’s national awards.

Shane Goodwin has over 10 years of experience in mining corporate affairs and external relations for New Century Resources, MMG and Barrick Gold Corporation. Mr Goodwin focuses on improving relationships with traditional owners at Century Mine, and achieved an agreement to develop a previously unavailable ore body which had unresolved cultural heritage negotiations.
Mr Goodwin received the Australian Mining Award for Community Interaction for partnership with Waanyi-Downer Joint Venture at Century Mine, and is a board member of the Aboriginal Development Benefits Trust which provides economic development opportunities to traditional owners in the Gulf of Carpentaria.
