Serge Ngandu has over 40 years of experience in the mining industry, and has been involved in delivering major mining projects across various African countries.
Mr Ngandu is the director of corporate affairs at Dathcom Mining SA, and has been instrumental in delivering the company’s favourable opinions obtained from various departments (technical, environmental, cadastral and financial) of the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Mr Ngandu had previously held senior management and board positions with several international mining and engineering companies including Hatch Africa (South Africa), Areva (France, Central African Republic, and South Africa), West African Minerals Corporation (Sierra Leone), Worley Parsons (South Africa) and Gecamines (DRC).
He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lubumbashi, a Master of Science in Mineral Processing from the Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine in France, and a dual MBA from the International Management Centre of United Kingdom and Business School Netherlands.
