Samantha Rowe is the Labor Party Member of the Western Australia Legislative Council for East Metropolitan Region.
She had held the position of Opposition Whip in the Legislative Council. Following Labor's win in the 2021 state election, Ms Rowe became the Parliamentary Secretary to Simon McGurk (Minister for Child Protection, Women's Interests, Prevention of Family & Domestic Violence, and Community Services) under the McGowan government. In the 2022 cabinet reshuffle, she became the Parliamentary Secretary to David Templeman, the Minister for Culture and the Arts; Sport and Recreation; International Education; Heritage.
Following the resignation of Mr McGowan in June 2023, Ms Rowe kept her portfolio as Parliamentary Secretary to David Templeman (Minister for Culture and the Arts; Sport and Recreation; International Education; Heritage) under the Cook government.
