Ross Povey

Ross Povey, founder and managing director of MAKE planning + design, is a town planner & architect with extensive experience in working collaboratively with all levels of government and the private sector. He is skilled in urban planning, regional planning, architecture, community engagement, sustainability, economic and tourism development, public health planning, strategic planning, coaching and mentoring.

As director of planning & development at the City of Stirling from 2005 to 2020, Mr Povey was responsible for all planning & development functions and collaboratively led many award-winning major urban regeneration & complex city planning projects. Prior to that, he was the director of strategic & regulatory services at the City of South Perth for over 5 years. Mr Povey became a full-time member of the State Administrative Tribunal in December 2020.

Mr Povey is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has an MBA (Distinction) from Curtin University.
