Ross Norgard is a chartered accountant and former managing director of KMG Hungerfords and its successor firms in Perth.
He established insolvency firm Norgard Clohessy, which later became the Pitcher Partners practice in WA after branching out at the turn of the century into tax-effective investments (including Xanadu Wines) and attempting resuscitate ailing businesses such as garden products firm Yates.
He is founding chair of Brockman Resources (formerly Yilgarn Mining), now deputy non-executive chair. He is also the the founding chair of nearmap, having joined the board in 1987 when it was QPSX and remained there as it became ipernica and then nearmap. He has previously been on the boards of Ammtec (1994-2010), Xanadu Wines (1999-2005), Yilgarn Mining (2004-2007) and, from 1995, an entity which became the listed group Yates in (2001-2003) and then Ausron in (2003-2006).
In 2012 he was named as a Team Finland Ambassador, based on trade initiative supported by the government of Finland.
