He was vice president of business development at Sinclair Pharmaceuticals (now Sinclair Pharma), a UK-based specialty pharmaceuticals company; and vice president of corporate development at Stiefel Laboratories, the largest independent dermatology company in the world and acquired by GlaxoSmithKline in 2009. He was also chief executive of Living Cell Technologies, vice president of business development at Connetics Corporation, and vice president of research & development at FH Faulding & Co.
