Rosalie Cobai joined the Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA in April 2017 as media and communications manager, and was promoted to director of communications and campaigns in February 2020. She is responsible for overseeing internal and external communications, campaigns, social media, promoting the work of CME and its members, and creating a greater awareness about the economic and social benefits from the mining, oil and gas sectors.
Prior to joining CME, Ms Cobai held numerous senior communications positions for over 13 years with a number of State Labor and Liberal Ministers and Premiers in the Gallop, Carpenter and Barnett Governments, serving across all portfolios in the Ministry. She was also a journalist for several state and local newspapers, and freelanced as a PR and media consultant for local government and tertiary organisations.
