Ron McNeilly is deputy chairman and lead independent director of Worley Parsons. Mr McNeilly was previously its chair, and is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee, Nominations Committee and Health, Safety and Environment Committee. Mr McNeilly has over 30 years’ experience in the resources industry. He joined BHP Billiton in 1962 and held several positions including executive director and president of BHP Minerals, chief operating officer, executive general manager and chief executive of BHP Steel, general manager transport, general manager long products division, and general manager of Whyalla Works. Mr McNeilly is former chair of Ausmelt and Melbourne Business School, and former deputy chair of BlueScope Steel (previously BHP Steel). He is a former director of Alumina, BHP and BHP Billiton, QCT Resources and Tubemakers of Australia.
