Rohan Hardcastle is a solicitor and barrister, an Adjunct Professor of Law at The University of Western Australia (UWA), and a venture partner with Jindalee Partners which works with early stage and listed companies to help them commercialise and scale. Prior to 2017, Mr Hardcastle was a barrister for over ten years at his own practice in the Sixth Floor Selborne Chambers in Sydney, which focused on financial markets and included clients of ASX 50 companies and regulators such as ASIC. He completed his Law degree at UWA and his PhD at the University of Oxford as a Menzies scholar. Following the completion of his doctorate, he published his research in a book titled Law and the Human Body: Property Rights, Ownership and Control. Upon returning to Australia, Mr Hardcastle worked as an associate to Justice Dyson Heydon AC at the High Court. He is also an ambassador for FSHD Global Research Foundation, a not-for-profit in the area of medical research for facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy. Mr Hardcastle is also skilled in IP protection and commercialisation.
