White Cliff Minerals will intensify its focus on its rare earths and lithium portfolio after selling Abraxis Mining ¬– including three Pilbara lithium tenements – to Gold Geological Consulting for $200,000. The company says the transaction is part of an ongoing portfolio review that is expected to lead to further divestments of non-core projects as it builds on its significant Western Australian rare earths and lithium holdings.

The company has secured a swathe of ground in the Canadian province of Nunavut after an agreement with a private party for 61 mineral claims covering 80,500 hectares at Coppermine River.

White Cliff Minerals believes its Lake Johnston South project is highly-prospective for spodumene-bearing pegmatites following a review into the operation west of Norseman in Western Australia’s Goldfields region. The company says the campaign will use mobile magnetotellurics to image subsurface resistivity and it is expected to highlight and define structural trends to optimise future drill targets.

A recent share price hike for White Cliff Minerals has triggered a cash bonanza for the company after it today confirmed $4.33 million worth of options had been exercised on the back of its rally from recent lows. Touching as low as 0.9c to start the new year of trading, the share price rose to as high as 1.9c after it grabbed new Canadian ground.

White Cliff Minerals’ review of historic datasets for its Radium Point project in Canada has highlighted multiple high-grade uranium-copper-gold-silver targets including 14.15 per cent uranium oxide. The project forms the northern half of the approximately 2,900 sq km licence area held by the company which says results exceed its expectations and that the targets will be assessed in the upcoming 2024 field program.
