Roderick McIllree is a London-based geologist and mining veteran with a deep understanding of narrow-vein, high-grade gold deposits within the broader Asia Pacific region.
For over 20 years, Mr McIllree has founded and held senior positions with international mining companies such as Medusa Mining, Anvil Mining, Kingsrose Mining; as well as international exploration companies such as
Greenland Minerals and Energy, Bluejay Mining, and Elemental Minerals.
Mr McIllree gained international experience in the prolific mineral belts of Chile before returning to Australia's gold sector. After completing a Graduate Diploma in Mineral Economics from Kalgoorlie School of Mines, he moved into the finance sector and was an analyst and advisor for broking houses active in Australian and international capital markets.
He became the executive chair of White Cliff Minerals in August 2023.
