Robert Thomson has over 6 years of M&A and capital markets experience, and has been involved in general corporate advisory, financing transactions and public company M&A, particularly within the natural resources, industrial, engineering and telecommunications sectors.
Mr Thomson joined Sternship Advisers in April 2019 after six years with Azure Capital. He had also spent two years in New York on secondment from Azure Capital, where he worked for a private corporate advisory firm focused on financing transactions for clients operating in the mining, energy, infrastructure and technology sectors. Robert completed FINRA’s Series 7 and 63 license examinations during his time in New York.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Corporate Finance and Investment Finance) and a Bachelor of Economics (majoring in Financial Accounting, Money & Banking and International Business Economics) from the University of Western Australia.
