Robert Ryan is a mining engineer with over 20 years of experience in the resource sector. He has been involved with exploration, resource development, feasibility studies, project development, mining operations, corporate merger and acquisitions.
Mr Ryan was the chief executive of Bardoc Gold, general manager of Paddington Operations for Norton Goldfields (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zijin Mining Group) where he was the registered manager for the 3.7Mtpa Paddington Operation, general manager and company director of Norton Goldfields, and a senior mining consultant at Mining Plus where he worked at Norton Gold Fields and Gold Fields St Ives operations. Earlier in his career, he held a range of senior positions with Barrick Kanowna between 2007 and 2012, including as underground mine superintendent and open pit mine superintendent.
Mr Ryan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Engineering) from Curtin University School of Mines, and a First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency.
