PwC acquires GEM Consulting
PricewaterhouseCoopers has substantially expanded its business advisory practice in Perth by purchasing management consulting firm GEM Consulting for an undisclosed sum.
Robert Radley is a management consultant. Prior to joining Azure, he was a partner and founding member of Bain & Company's Perth office, a member of its global mining practice, leader of the Australian Utilities practice, and leader of the Australian Performance Improvement capability. Mr Radley has more than 18 years of experience in management consulting, working with clients across multiple sectors but specialising in large industrial (mining, petro-chemicals, engineering services, steel) businesses and utilities. He has deep strategy, organisation and performance improvement expertise and has led projects in the areas of corporate and business unit strategy, national competitiveness, marketing strategy, performance improvement, organisation effectiveness, information systems strategy and technology management. His consulting career has enabled him to work in Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Australia. Prior to joining Bain & Company, Mr Radley was PwC’s advisory leader for Western Australia and national consulting leader for resources, utilities and mining. Before his consulting career, he had leadership roles in the information technology and defence R&D sectors. After studying electronics at Rhodes University, Mr Radley earned a Masters in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Witwatersrand. He also completed the Executive Development Programme at Cornell University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr Radley is a board member of Aquinas College and Silver Chain Nursing Association, and a former director of Autism West.
