Dr Robert Figlin is a Professor of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and the Steven Spielberg Family Chair in Hematology-Oncology, director of the Division of Hematology-Oncology, deputy director of the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute, and deputy director of integrated oncology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
He completed his residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California.
Dr Figlin is an Emeritus Professor of Medicine and Urology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
He has authored over 350 peer reviewed articles, more than 70 book chapters, and has published (as an editor) multiple books on kidney cancer. He is the editor of the Springer Science book entitled, Renal Cell Carcinoma: Translational Biology, Personalized Medicine, and Novel Therapeutic Targets.
