Robert Elstone

Robert Elstone has over 30 years’ experience in senior management roles spanning investment banking, corporate finance, wholesale financial markets and risk management. From July 2006 to October 2011, he was managing director and chief executive of ASX. He was also managing director and chief executive of the Sydney Futures Exchange from May 2000 to July 2006, and from January 1995 to May 2000 he was finance director of Pioneer International. Mr Elstone was a non-executive director of the National Australia Bank from September 2004 to July 2006, an inaugural member of the Board of Guardians of the Future Fund, and former chair of the Financial Sector Advisory Council to the Federal Treasurer.
