Robert Dunlop

Robert Dunlop is an executive director of Macquarie Group and chair of the Global Resources Group at Macquarie Capital. Since joining Macquarie in 1991, Mr Dunlop has been involved in many roles including leading the Australian Resources team, a senior member of the Infrastructure group where he worked mainly in regulated infrastructure deals, and leading Macquarie’s business in New Zealand during the mid 90’s. Before Macquarie, he worked for investment bank Capel Court and prior to that with chartered accounting firm, Coopers & Lybrand. Mr Dunlop is also on the board of Quadrant Energy. Prior to his current role, he was global head of Macquarie’s Natural Resources Group. He holds degrees in Science and Economics from the University of Sydney, and a Masters of Economics from Macquarie University. Mr Dunlop is a Chartered Accountant, a member of FINSA, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
