Robert Dennis has extensive base metals and precious metals project development and operational experience. He is a mining engineer with experience in the nickel, copper, gold and alumina industries.
Mr Dennis was the chief executive and managing director of Poseidon Nickel, an appointment he held from August 2018 until his retirement at the end of August 2019. He joined the company in 2007 as chief operating officer, was appointed to the board in 2014, and re-joined the executive team as managing director in 2018. Mr Dennis was also the chief operating officer of Adita Birla Minerals, general manager of project development at Lionore Australia, general manager of operations at Great Central Mines, and chief mining engineer at Western Mining Corporation.
