Rob Hamilton is the founder and managing director of Ashanti Capital. Mr Hamilton was also part of the founding team at ReOrient Financial Markets in Hong Kong where he has been based for the past five years.
He was managing director in the equity capital markets team, focused mainly on capital raising activities for Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australian listed equities & private investments. In 2015, ReOrient was acquired by Yunfeng Capital — Jack Ma/Alibaba.
Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Mr Hamilton spent four years in Perth working for Macquarie Bank and Argonaut (corporate finance & institutional sales).
