
Professor Rob Donovan has extensive experience across a broad range of health and social policy areas. He is the founder of the Act-belong-Commit mental health promotion campaign, and an advocate for a greater emphasis on prevention in domestic violence by shifting the focus to the perpetrator and the prevention of recurrence of abuse.
Prof Donovan has been an adjunct professor at the University of Western Australia's School of Human Sciences since January 2014.
In January 2021, Prof Donovan was appointed to chair the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Social Science Research Expert Advisory Group. He has been involved with the agency since its inception, and was a founding member of its education committee and had chaired the Social Science Review Panel.
