Dr Richard Treagus is a medical doctor with extensive ASX experience, and a background in pharmaceutical sales and marketing.

After a period as a medical director of WyethAyerst (now Pfizer), Dr Treagus became the commercial director of Aspen Pharmacare in South Africa where he was responsible for all sales, marketing and business development for pharmacy and consumer products. He was also the general manager of Sigma Pharmaceuticals in Melbourne, managing director and chief executive of ASX-listed Acrux, and executive chair of ASX-listed Neuren Pharmaceuticals.

Dr Treagus graduated with an MB ChB (Medicine and Surgery, First Class Honours), Master of Medicine, and an MBA from universities in South Africa.
