Richard Richards has a diverse and experienced background in financial management.
He is the chief financial officer of Seven Group Holdings (SGH). He joined SGH in October 2013 from diverse industrials group, Downer EDi, where he was deputy chief financial officer. Prior to joining Downer EDi, Mr Richards was chief financial officer for the Family Operations of LFG, the private investment and philanthropic vehicle of the Lowe Family for two years. Prior to LFG, he held senior finance roles at Qantas for over 10 years.
Mr Richards holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Laws (Honours) from Bond University, a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
