Richard Davis was appointed a non-executive director of InvoCare in February 2012, and had retired as its chief executive and managing director in December 2008 after 20 years of service. For the majority of that time, he held the position of chief executive and successfully initiated and managed the growth of the business through a number of ownership changes and over 20 acquisitions including Singapore Casket Company, the company's first international acquisition.
Mr Davis is chair of Monash IVF Group, Australian Vintage and Singapore Casket Company. Prior to joining the funeral industry, Mr Davis worked in venture capital and as an accounting partner of Bird Cameron.
He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney.
