Richard Burch is a second-generation member of the Burch family winemaking dynasty.
After completing a Bachelor of Marketing at Edith Cowan University in 2009 he then carved out a career in account management, working for a number of well-known Perth advertising agencies before deciding to move back to the family business to work on the 2012 vintage where he gained experience as a cellar hand and brand ambassador. Mr Burch continued to build his knowledge and experience in the winery, working on the 2013 and 2014 vintages in Margaret River and later the 2014 vintage in Burgundy with renown Burgundian Pascal Marchand. Late in 2012, Mr Burch moved to Melbourne where he worked as a sales manager for the Eastern Seaboard, implementing sales and marketing strategies in Australia and export markets.
