Dr Matthew Greentree has become the managing director of Ausgold, having served as its chief executive since April 2017.
Ray Betros is a qualified chemical engineer with a postgraduate diploma in Process Plant Project Engineering and has extensive experience in senior executive roles specialising in international business, project development and technical management in mining and oil and gas. He has over 35 years’ experience in international business, project development and technical management, held senior positions in resource companies, and worked extensively internationally in Indonesia, United Kingdom and Egypt. Mr Betros also held various senior executive positions at BHP/BHP Billiton (1993-2004), BG Group (2004-2008) and Santos (2008-2011) where he was executive vice president of technical until his retirement from executive duties.
