Chief Executive / Future Fund
Dr Raphael Arndt has been chief investment officer of Future Fund since September 2014. Prior to that, he was the Fund’s head of infrastructure and Timberland since 2008.
He began his career as an engineer working with Ove Arup & Partners. Dr Arndt was also an investment director of Hastings Funds Management, and held infrastructure policy positions with the private sector and the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance.
He holds Engineering and Economics degrees and a PhD from the University of Melbourne.
