Phillip Kingston
Phillip Kingston is an Australian entrepreneur, investor, and industry leader. Kingston is perhaps best known for his activities in the world of fintech, although he has founded many other companies in numerous industries over the course of his career. Trimantium Capital, GrowthOps, and Sargon were all started by Kingston. Today, he is forging a new path with a brand new company called Galactic Bioware.

Kingston’s interest in programming and computers began at a very early age, and he became interested in coding, software, and hardware throughout his high school years. After studying engineering and business at the University of Melbourne, Kingston graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Science. He continued his studies at the University and Adelaide and Deakin University before focusing entirely on his entrepreneurial career.

After working with various sustainability groups, Phillip founded Trimantium Capital, a principal investment and advisory company that has since grown in influence across North America and the Asia-Pacific region. Kingston then went on to found Sargon, a fintech company that worked with some of the biggest financial institutions in the world before being rebranded as Certes. Before it was sold to private equity, Sargon was generating almost $70 million in revenue per year, and it was in control of over $50 billion in assets.

In the same year that Kingston founded Sargon, he also founded the professional services firm GrowthOps. The company later merged with Trimantium Capital to form Trimantium GrowthOps to create a more integrated platform for clients. This company was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2021 with $80 million in annual revenue.

In 2020, Phillip Kingston embarked on a new challenge and created Galactic Bioware. This company focuses on providing disaster-proof survival gear for an increasingly dangerous world. Some of the company’s earliest products include urban apparel that is designed to protect the wearer against a wide range of potential hazards, including knife wounds, bomb shrapnel, and small arms fire.

Galactic Bioware has also been involved in the development of mechanized “power armour.” In 2021, Galactic Bioware announced that they had successfully designed a firefighting power suit called the Fire Knight. The company is also reportedly working on a helicopter crash suit called the Velociraptor.

Kingston is active in a number of other industries. He is a partner at Dragonfire, a well-known production company in Hollywood that has worked on a number of notable film and television projects. In addition, Phillip continues to work with various sustainability organizations within Australia, and he regularly speaks at a number of annual conferences and events.
