Philippa Leggat is a mineral industry executive with over 20 years of experience in advancing domestic and international projects along the value chain. She has served as an executive director and advisor to ASX-listed companies engaged in capital raising, exploration, development and project evaluation.
Ms Leggat has also been involved in raising development and construction finance, numerous due diligence projects, and corporate governance work for both the public and private sectors.
She is a director of Legate ICT Consulting in South Africa, a company specialising in information governance, security and privacy. Her work as a management consultant has largely focused on corporate strategy and business improvement, and in creating physical asset management strategies for the South African divisions of two of the major resource companies. Ms Leggat was chief executive of Comet Resources, and executive director of Geopacific Resources.
She holds Bachelor degrees in Commerce (financial management, strategy and risk) and Art (jewellery, gemmology and metallurgy), is pursuing a Master in Data Science Strategy and Leadership through RMIT, and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
