Philip St Baker

Philip St Baker is an experienced entrepreneur in Australia and the USA. He is the managing director and chief executive of NOVONIX, a developer and supplier of high performance materials, equipment and services for the global lithium‐ion battery industry, with operations in North America and sales in over a dozen countries. Mr St Baker was the managing director of ERM Power for eight years to 2014, overseeing the development of power generation assets (over $2 billion in value) and the creation and expansion of ERM Power’s retail business. Prior to that he had a 16‐year career with BHP Billiton, gaining international experience in the resources sector including mining, processing, smelting and refining. In 2014, Mr St Baker received the Ernst & Young Queensland Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Listed Companies and was a nominee for the Australian Entrepreneur of the Year. He is also a member of State Advisory Board of Queensland for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
